We want to work with you

want to write for issue no.3?

Mwanga Magazine is currently accepting writing applications/submissions for Issue No. 3, an issue centered on nostalgia, art, analog living, and creative rituals.

We’re looking for thoughtful, well-crafted pieces that explore memory, softness, longing, creativity, and the quiet moments that shape how we live. Whether through personal essays, cultural commentary, or reflective storytelling, we’re interested in work that feels intentional, human, and textured.

You do not need previous publishing experience to submit. We welcome emerging writers, students, and creatives who are excited about storytelling and meaningful cultural conversation.

If you have a story, reflection, or idea that aligns with the themes of nostalgia, art, hobbies, or slowing down, we’d love to read it.

Submissions for Issue No. 3 are now open.
